Welcome to the first entry of the Swagmatic blog. Here we will share swag success stories and hopefully help inspire great promo, giveaway, and gift ideas.

Some of you may know me from my previous position at Identity-Links for the past 5 years. I recently ended my employ there due to a difficult situation with a family run business and in order to pursue my own path in the industry I know and love. 2011 will mark a fresh start for me and I’m very excited to continue to work with the friends I made over the years and all the new friends I hope to meet in the years to come.

There are an ever growing number of promotional product distributors all across the country and any one of them can get you branded items from a supplier network of over 850,000 products. Many of the larger distributors are moving to 100% web-based product search engines and while this can be a great tool to browse products it can also make it extremely difficult to sift through and actually find what you’re looking for, they can also be limiting because many sites choose to not include all the available products in their database. It’s my belief that search engine sites also lack the most important factor – personal attention.

I’ve been in this industry for over 12 years now and my focus has always been on the creative side of it. I’m here to help you find what you need but more-so to help guide you to those products you may not have thought of or didn’t know existed. The site will also serve as a showcase for the best hand selected products as they become available. Let me be your personal consultant to the world of swag out there.

I’m off to Vegas next week to see the new products for 2011 and will be delivering them to our new products showcase hot off the presses. I’d be happy to be your personal shopper while I’m out there so if you’re looking for something special just drop me a line via our contact page.

As some of you know, I designed a small line of radiology themed promotional products. You can check them out at www.radiologypromos.com. This is one of the ways I’m working to help streamline and bring a designer touch to the industry; we’ll be doing the same for other fields in the coming months so check back or feel free to let us know what areas you feel need a break from generic promos.

Follow us on twitter for up to the minute announcements and news, there’s much more to come!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!
