Compressed T-Shirts

I don’t know about you but, over here, we’re always looking for the perfect tradeshow handout for our customers and for ourselves.   You know the one I’m talking about: it’s the one that captures the receiver’s eye, makes them think about your brand and services, not only when they receive it but also when the time comes that they actually need what you’re advertising and, if you’re lucky, one that also provides logo longevity.

You’ve got your classic pens, tote bags and key chains which change hands, get toted out in public and are visible every time you set your keys down on the counter while you dig in your purse or pockets but where’s the uniqueness that offers a “wow” factor once your potential client receives it?  I’d be willing to bet a tradeshow attendee has at least a half-dozen pens, 2 or 3 tote bags and numerous key chains so how will your company’s giveaway be remembered out of all the swag that’s been received?

Of course, if you’re looking for something that offers a little bit more uniqueness, there is the tried and true stress reliever offering a colorful shape for any subject or service under the sun, from animals to automobiles or shapes of the 50 states and back to sports balls and mechanical tools.  Nowadays, there are even stress relievers with sound bites in them, too!  Although we absolutely love one of the most recent projects we’ve done here, which was the “Twitter” bird for JPMorgan Chase, our usual consensus is that after a few days or, if you’re lucky, a few weeks, doesn’t that same stress ball usually end up in your toddler’s toy box so, tell me this: when is the last time your 3 year old made the decision on who to hire to fix the furnace, service the family SUV or build a new garage?

While the aforementioned are all still classic, appropriate and budget-friendly handouts, we think we may have found something that offers everything mentioned earlier: a compressed T-shirt!  Yes, we know it’s not a “new “ concept but it offers visibility at every stage of its swaged-out life!  From the moment you receive it in its little custom shape to the time you’ll spend un-shrinking it to the billboard it becomes once your potential client starts wearing it, the one-of-a-kind way it screams your individual brand and the amount of people it reaches is endless.  Below are some unique projects we’ve come across that really used the individuality aspect well!

AMC  – Create Awareness

Disney’s TRON – Movie & DVD Release

Tron fans will be recognized night and day in their glow-in-the-dark gift with purchase t-shirt. The t-shirt was compressed to fit in the retail Tron DVD package and was an added bonus to Tron lovers nationwide.

ASCE – Tradeshow Giveaway

There was no gamble with this American Society of Civil Engineers CompressT. Their shirt, compressed to fit into a card box, promoted their 2010 Las Vegas trade show and their upcoming 2011 show in Memphis.

Sun Chips – Vending Machines

Instant Win Packages placed in Vending Machines contained an Organic T-Shirt compressed to fit in the Sun Chips bag along with $1 for the Sun Chips the winner was really craving!

Questions?  Check out the FAQ’s about compressed t-shirts and how they work.

Do you screen print the shirt?

Yes, we are a full service screen printer. We print up to 14 colors, 4-color process, index printing and many specialty techniques.

Can you do screen print only?

Yes, we compress most jobs, but are happy to produce shirts that are not compressed.

What kind of shirts can you compress?

We can compress any 100% cotton product as long as it does not have buttons, snaps or zippers. We also compress most types, colors, and sizes of t-shirts, towels, bandannas or tote bags.

Do the wrinkles wash out?

Most wrinkles will come out in the first wash. Some of the smaller shapes may require an additional wash.

How will my client know the size of the shirts?

Thousands and many of our shapes will work as multiple items

Our factory’s patented process uses specially built machinery and tremendous pressure.

The insert card displays your logo, product or promotional theme through the compressed package. They can be used as business reply cards, coupons, gift cards, surveys, sign up sheets, or to provide information on products and services. We can also replace them with stickers or other flat shaped items such as CD’s or booklets.
