2015 Cyber Monday Sales On Track to Set Record
 

Reuters reported that cyber Monday sales in the United States are on track to break records with a 14% jump in online sales compared to last year. Roughly $490 million was spent between the hours of 12 AM and 10 AM and $3 billion is expected to spent by the end of the day.

Many online retailers experienced website crashes due to heavy traffic, including Target, Walmart, Neiman Marcus, and Victoria’s Secret. Many are also experiencing higher than normal out of stock rates.

According to IBM, Cyber Monday sales will grow by 18% compared to last year by the end of the day. The average shopper will spend $135.25 and up to 53% of shopping visits were for mobile devices.
